Welcome to the Home of Celtic Athletics!
The Holy Trinity Athletic Program dedicates itself to the pursuit of excellence. The mission of Holy Trinity athletics is to promote the development of the student-athlete as a whole, in a nurturing environment while strengthening mind, body, and spirit through sport.
The successful integration of faith into athletics can produce individuals who are faith-filled, have respect for others, value human life, and are willing to sacrifice for those in need. It is the goal of the Holy Trinity athletic administration to excel in athletics just as we do in academics.
Holy Trinity athletics exists to provide safe and rewarding participation in a variety of sports for students with athletic interest. Participation on a team is a privilege. With this privilege comes the responsibility in the areas of academics, attitude, preparation, and sportsmanship. These responsibilities exist both in and out of school and in athletic and non-athletic settings.
The goal of the Holy Trinity athletic department is to enhance the overall education of the student. Although opponents are not a part of our school community, they are members of the larger body of Christ and should be treated as such. Coaches should model such respect for their athletes and should instruct players on how to welcome their opponents and all visitors in a way that conveys a sense of hospitality and community.
A Celtic Athlete, Coach and Supporter wins and loses with grace and humility. Each contest will be fought with bravery, honesty, and for the Glory of God. The positive, enthusiastic support and involvement of parents is one way the Celtic athletic program will grow in its successes and effectiveness. Each member of our community plays an important role in Celtic Athletics; without you we would not be here!
Thank you for your commitment to our program. I look forward to working with each of you.
