Aidan Family and the Cross Country teamed up to have the school's second annual Chili Potluck night on Oct. 25. In addition to lots of chili, there were lots of games as well.
“The Aidan family helped set up this year,” Aidan Family Sponsor Karen Kacir said. “It was a good service project for our family.”
The purpose of Potluck night is to give families a chance to come and spend an evening with other families from Holy Trinity, Principal Veronica Alonzo said.
“This year the turnout was lower due to the weather,” Principal Veronica Alonzo said. “It was too hot for chili.”
The Cross Country team joined in the festivities as part of their pre-state team dinner. The state meet was held on the following morning in Waco.
"It was good to wish the runners luck before their meet," Dr. Alonzo said.
