Senior Anthony Doak added to Holy Trinity’s long list of academic achievements recently by scoring a perfect 800 on the writing section of his SAT.

“I’m really happy about it,” Doak said. “This was my second SAT. It was a huge relief, I stressed out about the first one, but the second on was an answer to my prayers.”

A National Merit Scholar, Doak got a total score of 2260 on the SAT, earning recognition from colleges nationwide, including Texas A&M.

“I think it validates the preparation that the teachers are giving the students,” said Cheryl Sanders, the counselor at Holy Trinity, “It shows the hard work the students are putting into college preparation.”

Along with the SAT, Doak has scored high marks on his ACT and all the AP tests he has taken so far.
