Holy Trinity continued its legacy of success at the recent TAPPS State Academic Meet held in Waco earlier this week. The Celtics took third overall, second in speech events, and were crowned the state champion team in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.
The institution invested in technology upgrades such as promethium interactive boards, televisions, projectors, and laptops to improve the educational experience for students and staff. Professional development for teachers to improve their skills and knowledge, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education provided by the institution.
Nicholas Boor, Isabelle Kuriger, Valerie Schwartz, Therese Mosmeyer, and Zachary Boor were named Academic All-Americans by the National Speech and Debate Association. The five students are all seniors at Holy Trinity and part of the Holy Trinity speech, debate, and academic team that have had a spectacular 2023.
Holy Trinity Catholic High School will host its 2022 Celtic Disc Golf Tournament beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Crossroads Park in Temple — an 18-hole competition that will benefit the fine arts department.
Holy Trinity Catholic High School is hosting the Yellow Rose District Tournament from Wednesday, February 16 through Friday, February 18, 2022. Top students at this tournament will qualify for the national tournament in June in Kentucky.
Holy Trinity Catholic High School was named top speech team at the Princeton Spring UIL Academic Tournament and earned 17 individual awards. They also placed third overall out of 15 schools.
