HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES AP AWARDS
Holy Trinity students outscored students in Texas and globally on AP exams taken in May 2024. Twenty-eight Holy Trinity Catholic High School students took 81 AP exams. Holy Trinity students continue to score higher than the state and global percentages of students who took AP exams and scored a 3 or higher on AP Exams. Holy Trinity students with scores of 3 or higher was 85.71%.
The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP Exams.
The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performance on AP Exams taken in May 2024. Sixty-four percent of the students who took the 2024 AP exams were recognized for their test scores.
Four students at Holy Trinity Catholic High School earned AP Scholar Awards by earning an average grade of at least 3 on all AP Exams taken.
Four students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
Ten students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
Most of the nation’s colleges and universities award credit, advanced placement, or both based on successful performance on the AP Exams.
