Holy Trinity Catholic High School has emerged as the winner in the Academic Events and Lincoln Douglas Debate categories at this year's State Academic Meet. The team also secured 2nd place for overall performance, trailing just 24 points behind the winning team, Tomball Rosehill Christian. The team placed 3rd in the Speech Events category. 

It is worth noting that since 2003, Holy Trinity Catholic High School has consistently placed in the top 3. Out of 19 events, the Holy Trinity Catholic High School team won eight State Championships. 

Jalen Cooper won the State Championship and the Top Chemistry Score in Science, while Samuel Kwan won the State Championship in Number Sense. Jalen Cooper also won the State Championship in Calculator, Zachary Boor won the State Championship in Advanced Math, Therese Mosmeyer won the State Championship in Literary Criticism, and Zachary Boor won the State Championships in Current Events and Social Studies. Valerie Schwartz won the State Championship in Persuasive Speaking. 

"We are extremely proud of the performance of our students and congratulate them on their outstanding achievements," said the school's Fine Arts Director, Chris Mosmeyer. "Their hard work and dedication have paid off, and we are thrilled to see them excel in academics."
