Kate Boone, a talented senior athlete from Holy Trinity Catholic High School has been given the opportunity of a lifetime to continue her athletic career and education at Trinity University. Boone has received her education from private Catholic schools, including St. Mary's Catholic School and Holy Trinity Catholic High School, and has an impressive high school record in cross country and track, with numerous accolades and championships.
Boone was part of the cross-country team, track team, volleyball team, and soccer team while attending school and was able to letter on Varsity in all four of them for all four years. She built a strong relationship with her teammates while attending school and received numerous accolades in all sports. The opportunities given to her at Holy Trinity Catholic High School were tremendous, allowing her to excel in small class sizes, build character, learn to have volunteerism and service towards others, and become a well-rounded young adult.
Through her accomplishments, Boone was offered a scholarship of over $200,000 towards continuing her education. She expressed her gratitude to Holy Trinity and Coach Warnes for assisting her with many opportunities to develop her athletic career. Boone will now transition from a Holy Trinity Celtic to a Trinity University Tiger, where she will experience new adventures, challenges, and running courses and disciplines.
