Holy Trinity Catholic High School, which was the only private school that competed among 18 public schools, placed first out of 19 teams at the Princeton Fall Classic UIL meet.  The team earned 16 awards overall including four first-place finishes:

• Theresa Lindberg won first in Dramatic Interpretation,  third in Prose,  first in Program of Oral Interpretation, and third in Oratory.
• Therese Mosmeyer won first in Oratory, third for best speaker,  and third in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, 
• Valerie Schwartz and Aidan Collin won first in Duo Interpretation
• Therese Mosmeyer and Isabelle Kuriger won third in Duo Interpretation
• Joshua Barkis won 2nd in Oratory
• Isabelle Kuriger won 2nd in Program of Oral Interpretation
• Samuel Kwan and Elias Deen won second in Duo Interpretation
• Nicholas Boor won third in Oratory, fifth in Informative Extemp,  sixth-best speaker, and Lincoln-Douglas Debate
• Elias Deen won fifth in Oratory.
• Thomas Bennett won sixth in Informative Extemp and Oratory

The Celtic Forensics Team will next host the Journey Speech and Debate Tournament this coming Saturday, Oct. 2, at Holy Trinity.
