Accounting
Prerequisites:
11th-12th Grades; 2 semesters, 1 credit
This course introduces the basic fundamentals of accounting. Topics included are banking, preparation of financial statements, handling of payroll and taxes, depreciation, disposition of fixed assets, handling of bad debts and notes, and interest. The students will learn a computerized accounting software.
Business Image Management and Multimedia (BIMM)
Prerequisites: None
10th-12th Grades; 1-2 semesters, ½ - 1 credit
Students will develop proficiency in designing, importing, and manipulating advanced text, graphics, audio, and video used in presentation management, multimedia productions, publishing systems, web designs, and emerging technologies. Resources include Adobe, Microsoft, and other industry-standard software, and project designs are stressed.
Robotics Programming & Design
Prerequisites: None
9th-12th Grades; 2 semesters, 1 credit
Students in this course will design, develop, and program a robot. The students will use this robot to compete against robots from other schools in the area.
AP Computer Science Principles (not scheduled in current rotation)

AP Computer Science Principles introduces you to the foundations of computer science with a focus on how computing powers the world. Along with the fundamentals of computing, you will learn to analyze data, create technology that has a practical impact, and gain a broader understanding of how computer science impacts people and society. The course is organized around seven big ideas, which are essential to studying computer science: Creativity, Abstraction, Data and Information, Algorithms, Programming, the Internet, and Global Impact.
